Peyton got married in 1992 and moved to Nevada with her husband Michael for a job opportunity. They lived there for 13 years and started a family. Three daughters later, they decided southern Nevada wasn’t where they wanted to raise their girls, so they decided to move out to the good old mid-west in 2004.

Peyton was lucky enough to stay home while the kids were little. In 2009 when their youngest child was ready to enter 1st grade, it was time to get out there and find a job she would enjoy. She saw an ad for a representative payee position at Fiscal Assistance Inc, and after familiarizing herself with the job and the company, applied for the position.

After the interview process was complete, she was extremely happy a short time later to get a call from Carol Richards, the director of Fiscal Assistance Inc to offer her the position. She started shortly thereafter, and the rest is history.

During her time at Fiscal Assistance she has had the chance to work with several different agencies. With the group that she currently works with, she has the opportunity to be more closely involved with her clients, which is very rewarding.

Aside from performing my responsibilities as lead payee, she also organizes the preparation of taxes for all our clients and work closely with our contact at the Department of Revenue via the Vita center. Another responsibility she has recently taken on, is the intake and coordination of all new clients coming to Fiscal Assistance Inc. She works in unison with Social Security to help facilitate a smooth transition.

EMPLOYER AGENT

Patrice is the “new kid on the block” joining Fiscal Assistance, Inc., as the Office Manager in July 2014. Patrice married last July and relocated to the Cottage Grove area from Tomah, where she was born and raised. During the past year, she continued to work in Tomah in her position as Payroll Clerk/Assistant Bookkeeper for the past seventeen years for a facility that provides work opportunities to people with disabilities. Patrice has two associate degrees from Western Technical College-Administrative Assistant/Information Processing and Accounting; and is continuing her education on a part-time basis working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, but took some time off to enjoy spending time with her husband.

Patrice enjoys serving opportunities with her churches (new and former), such as leading a ministry team for weekly set up, helping with vacation bible school, formerly coordinating the Angel Tree Program, serving on mission trips to New Orleans-post Katrina, Habitat for Humanity, Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army, and Serving Madison Sundays. Patrice also enjoys dancing (ballet, tap, and jazz) and prior to getting married taught part-time for a studio in Tomah. Dance has always been a passion for her and she is hoping to find a studio in the area to take some classes for her (although she misses the little ones she taught in class).

Administration

Beth joined FA in January 2011 as SDS Coordinator. Beth majored in Human Resource Management at UW-Whitewater. Prior to working at FA, Beth had worked in Payroll departments for a few companies for 6 years.

Beth took time off to stay home and raise her 3 children until they were in school. She worked part-time and processed payroll for a friend’s DJ service.

Once the youngest child was in school, she decided to be a substitute which led to her being hired at the DeForest Area High School as an Educational Assistant in the Special Ed Department. She assisted students in the classroom and also did job coaching and community work with the students in the afternoons. She felt lucky to be a job coach for one of the students who worked at FA from May 2008 until she left that position in Jan 2011 to work at FA.

Beth has worked in various departments at FA as SDS Coordinator, Rep Payee, Office Manager and her current position as an Employer Agent Specialist. She enjoys working in a position that offers a choice for the participants in the program to make a difference in their lives, very rewarding.

In her spare time, Beth enjoys nature walks, photography, traveling, baking and spending time with her kids as well as her pets.
